Yolist is built on open public data. We are committed to full attribution in compliance with all applicable licences. Below are the data sources we use and the terms under which they are provided.
Companies House
Business registration data sourced from Companies House under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
We use Companies House data to display business names, registered addresses, company numbers, SIC codes, and incorporation dates. Data is updated on a rolling basis from the Companies House open data API.
OpenStreetMap
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence.
Map tiles and geographic data displayed on Yolist are sourced from OpenStreetMap. The OpenStreetMap® mark and logo are trademarks of the OpenStreetMap Foundation. You are free to copy, distribute, transmit and adapt our maps, as long as you credit OpenStreetMap and its contributors.
Food Standards Agency
Food hygiene ratings data sourced from the Food Standards Agency.
Hygiene ratings and food establishment data for businesses in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland are provided by the Food Standards Agency (FSA). Ratings are updated weekly. The FSA food hygiene rating scheme logo must appear alongside any hygiene rating displayed.
Office for National Statistics (ONS)
Geographic and statistical data © Office for National Statistics, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
We use ONS geographic boundary data (GeoJSON) for county and district outlines displayed on map pages, and ONS population and business counts for statistical summaries. Source datasets include the ONS Open Geography Portal.
Royal Mail
Royal Mail Licence
Postcode data used under licence from Royal Mail.
UK postcode data is used to enable location-based search and mapping. The postcode database is derived from Royal Mail PAF® (Postcode Address File) data and the ONS Code History Database.
