Methodology

Sample 2026: Yolist surveyed 1,200 UK SME owners and managers between February and April 2026. "Optimised Google Business Profile" was defined as a claimed profile with trading hours, at least 5 photos, a description, and at least one owner response to a review. "Actively responds to reviews" required at least one public response in the 90 days before interview. Sector and size weights match ONS Business Population Estimates 2025. All figures clearly marked "sample 2026".
